The principal of Gampaha Bandaranayake College Mr.Lal
Dissanayake has been removed from his post,Education Ministry Sources has said to
the media.
According to Education Ministry sources, he has transfered
to Provincial Council Education Department.Two inquiries held regarding Mr.Lal
Dissanayake by the ministry of education and there are three pending inquiries
by the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka.
A protest against this decision of the ministry held today (24) at the school main gate.It said to be organised by SDS and OB of the school.
Sources said that it will not change the decision of the ministry.
